How To Apply For A New Emirates ID Card Online

You can apply for a new Emirates ID card through the website of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security – ICP, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website, Register and login with UAE pass.

Step 2: Go on service tab and click on Priority services.

Renewing Emirates ID

When can you renew your Emirates ID?

Renewal of an expired ID card must be done within 30 days of its expiration date, or late fees will apply.

When the Emirates ID expires, the holder must apply for its renewal. The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) will notify you via SMS to renew your ID.

Emirates ID card replacement for lost, stolen, or damaged cards

A replacement Emirates ID card must be requested from the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security- ICP as soon as possible if you have lost, stolen, or damaged your Emirates ID card. If you want to replace your Emirates ID card, follow these steps:

1. Report the incident

If the card is stolen or lost, contact the nearest ICP Customer Happiness Centre and report the incident. If you don’t have an ID number, ask ICP for a copy or a copy of your lost one. If your card is damaged, bring the old one with you. If you report the incident, make sure you have your identity documents with you.

  • Passports and family books must be brought in by UAE citizens.

Cancelling Emirates ID
